Description

The kit is designed to meet the needs of pleasure boats. Where there is water polluted by oils of various natures (in the bilge, engine compartment or elsewhere), the sponges contained in the OCK can quickly absorb and selectively the oil without water. OCKX has the same features as the OCK kit, but includes a cardboard box for more orderly and sustainable handling on board. Ideal for absorbing oil in the bilge or engine compartment, selectively and without water.

The kit contains:

x2 Sponge 9×24 h 2 cm
x1 Sponge 33×24 h 1 cm
x3 Zip-lock envelopes with slider for product used
x2 Pairs of nitrile gloves
x1 Nylon backpack to carry the kit
x1 Cardboard box to hold the entire kit

How to use

Wear PPE
Put on the nitrile gloves included in the kit before handling contaminated materials.
Apply the Sponges
Place the FoamFlex sponges directly onto the oil spill (bilge, engine area, deck surface).
They selectively absorb hydrocarbons while repelling water.
Allow Absorption
Let the sponge fully absorb the oil.
Collect & Store Used Materials
Place saturated sponges inside the zip-lock envelopes provided for safe temporary storage and proper disposal.
Store the Kit
After intervention, store all components inside the nylon backpack and cardboard box.
